We have put together a list of tips and etre candle burning information in order to make your être candle experience satisfying and more enjoyable.
- Trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting candles with an etre wick trimmer.
- If wick smokes, extinguish candle, wait for a moment, trim wick then re-light.
- Extinguish your candles with an etre wick dipper
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
- Each time you burn your candle allow the wax pool to cover entire surface before extinguishing.
This will ensure an even burn all the way to the bottom, improve scent throw and increase burning time. - Store candles in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources

No, our candle and melt collections are made using only the finest fragrant oils sourced from renowned perfumers across the world.
do you make your own candles, or are they contract manufactured?
être candles are proudly hand poured by our highly skilled candle artisans in our studio right here in Australia. Each candle undergoes a strict quality control and testing regime before it is released onto the consumer market.
are your candles triple scented?
Triple scented is a marketing term used by many candle makers today. It is a term used to sound more appealing to consumers and creates the impression that the candle is stronger in terms of scent; however this is often not the case. être candles does not bother using such misleading terminology, as we know our collection is one of the most aromatic on the market.
do être candles take wholesale orders?
